Journaling: For a long time now, Christopher has liked worms. He’s upset if a bird is going to eat a worm and rescues them off the sidewalk and driveway after a rain (if he’s outside already). He used to dig for them with Braden and Marissa in Minnie’s rocks. At Polliwogs camp he got a worm garden and was sad to let them go in the flower garden later. He will stop his bicycle on the way home to avoid running over an ant or an ant hill. I’m sure he can’t see them if he goes really fast, but when he’s going slow he always seems to look and notice. One day on the way home C was crouched down on the sidewalk and Michael thought he had fallen off his bike. He found a dead worm on the sidewalk and was very sad. I had him “bury” it by laying it in the grass. Figures that I would have a cute picture of M, not C, with a worm. . .

So cute! Great documentation of this "wormy" stage in his life! Bailey is that way about spiders...she'll go to great lengths to protect them. But she runs screaming from worms! I used to have to do "worm watch" before she'd walk out to the bus in the mornings. lol
As I already mentioned, I just love that microscope with the close up picture! and the photo of M is too cute!
