Yes I still remember how to paper scrap:)

Supplies list:
http://www.paperthreads.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_dnld_info&products_id=2839
(Carrie's Creations File: CS00149)
Cloud 9 background paper
other papers: Kelly Pannacci (sp?) for Creative Imaginations (also chipboard snowflakes), Basic Grey, unknown
Creative Imaginations ribbon

This would have been way cooler with a Rhonda Little (my friend IRL) poem, but alas, she was not nearby when I wanted/needed to finish it. I agonized over stupid little rhyming phrases that had to fit in the slats of the sled, but couldn't pull it off and resorted to:
Sledding Adventures: covered in snow- hat jauntily sideways- boots on the wrong feet- Then home for hot chocolate!

This is one of my favorite pics of Christopher:)
Oh, and this has to be a record...3 posts in 1 day! Hope none of you fell over from the shock of all the posts in 1 day plus the fact that I actually paper scrapped!:) Heehee.

A Visit from Jack Frost

Another challenge from Jessica Sprague. The idea was to take a photo today and scrapbook it right away. A secondary challenge was to do the layout in 30 minutes (you could have all your digi supplies open and ready to go). I suppose if you take out all the design decision time, I made it, just barely. I won't tell you how much time to add for all the pre-thinking I did, lol:) (and oh yeah, the photo was taken a couple weeks ago, sh, don't tell)

Supplies & Journaling:
Flakes and Gessele fonts
SG BHA zipper emb. templ. & MRE Star Bright style & TKA Weather or Not zipper pull
500 ml snowflake brush
Jen Wilson Being collection papers
KPertiet paper reveal
Journaling: Most days are filled with the same basic routine, but I’m so glad I stopped to smell the roses, as it were, today. When I let the dogs out this morning I was immediately struck by the beauty of winter nature. Jack Frost had been very busy in the night painting his frosty pictures all over our yard. It was bitterly cold, but I braved a couple steps out in the backyard to take some pictures to remember. Winter gets a bad rap sometimes, so I’m glad of the reminder that it has its beauty as well.

I'm glad we're not dealing with this kind of weather yet! This is from our March ice storm.

Christopher has been sick this week, but I think is finally on the mend.

To tell this next story requires a bit of background for those not intimately familiar with Michael and his quirks. His main hobbies, at age 21 months, are garbage, vacuums, dogs, and books. He makes a weird rattling sound in his mouth, kind of like ACCKKKKKKKKKKKK for garbage, and can point out any garbage can, anywhere, no matter what style or how well camouflaged into the environment. Case in point: he spent more time pointing out garbage cans at the Henry Doorly Zoo than looking at the animals.

He is obssessed with vacuum cleaners and says the word quite well, with a twist. "Vacuum-me" We're not sure if he's saying the vacuum is his, or "vacuuming" or what. He's not fond of it when it's turned on, but he'll play with the real one or his toy all day long if given the opportunity. Jeff has even looked at pictures of vacuums on the internet with M, and Christopher interrupted them last night and wanted to look at his favorite LEGO site. M gave him a nasty look and let out with his first sentence, "No, Titter, vacuum-me"
